The brim of the hat begins with 2x2 ribbing, followed by stripes and cabled slip stitches. The main colour is worked for four rows as you slip the contrast colour stitches. The contrast colour is worked for two rows with a simple cable cross to form the meandering stony stream pattern. The chunky yarn yields a plush fabric that is quick to knit and warm to wear. You can choose your favourite two-colour combination of West Wool chunky weight Cargo and enjoy knitting the bold stripes and textured stitches of this satisfying hat!
