Stitch patterns with extraordinary visual appeal really make my heart swell. I find new stitch tricks and interesting or unexpected results a huge part of my motivation as a knitter. Mautinoa means “to be confident” in my father’s native language of Samoan and I am confident that this shawl will soon become one of your favourite makes!
