GINNY by ANDREA MOWRYGinny is a beautiful knitted cardigan with an equally beautiful story behind it. The pattern is named after designer Andrea Mowry's grandmother, who not only taught her to knit but was also her biggest fan. Knit entirely in one colour, the garment is worked from the top-down in timeless stockinette with simple seed-stitch ridges throughout to add interest. There is raglan shaping for the sleeves and a simple garter stitch band and ribbing to neaten to edges. To finish with some extra flare, there is also a knitted belt to give your cardigan an elegant shape as you wear it.
