Our Staff Spotlight for September is Jodie! Jodie has been a part of our wonderful order fulfilment team since March. She loves preparing your beautiful orders and seeing all of your different yarn choices and colour palettes that provides inspiration for her own knitting projects. Jodie has particularly enjoyed preparing and sending out your MKAL kits because she knows how excited everyone is about receiving their kit and participating in the Westknits adventure (herself included!). 

Jodie was taught to knit by her friend Betsy around 20 years ago. Her favourite things to knit are mittens, socks, sweaters, hats, baby knits - basically any kind of knit! Jodie recently discovered how much fun knitting shawls can be after participating in the 2021 MKAL. On Jodie's needles at the moment are this year's YAL shawls and the Stitch by Numbers from Stephen's Painting Shawls book. Jodie is hoping to finish these WIPs before embarking on the MKAL adventure in October. 

When Jodie isn't packing your wonderful orders and knitting her colourful projects she is busy learning Dutch, drinking tea, spending lots of time with friends and family, and biking anywhere and everywhere around Amsterdam. You can check out Jodie's knits on Instagram here.
