AUGUST 2022 - JULIE ROBINSON

Our designer of the month for August is Julie Robinson, whose designs are the perfect summer projects with stunning shapes and intricate detailing. 

Julie believes that a more inclusive fibre industry isn’t just possible but is a necessity, and as a designer and educator Julie leads through example. Julie publishes fashion forward knitting patterns in an inclusive size range and trains the next generation of technical editors and knitwear designers to inspire greater inclusivity in the industry. Julie has spent over a decade in New York City working as a fashion designer and product developer for major brands, and it was her life-long love of crafting that inspired a career in fashion so that she could learn all about making clothes. Julie is now sharing all her knowledge from the fashion industry with fellow fibre enthusiasts.
