YAL 2022 DYER PROFILE: WALK COLLECTION

Our fourth dyer for this year's YAL is the wonderful WALK Collection, we have worked with Cathrin for a long time and love her yarns and approach to colour so when she agreed to take part in this year's YAL we couldn't have been more excited! She is collaborating with The Wandering Flock and we can't wait to see what gorgeous colours have in store for us.

WALK Collection grew from Cathrin's kitchen into the yarn dyeing operation we know and love. In 2013 the first member of staff joined the team and she attended their first ever yarn festival in Brighton. They are now a team of five and are always looking to develop new colours and share their beautiful skeins with crafters worldwide.

This wonderful dye studio is driven by their enthusiasm for yarn and all things woolly. They make sure that the yarn is not just high quality but also the best and most delightful colours to ensure that crafters can work with the best materials available. They are environmentally conscious, making sure to conserve energy, water and paper. Their super special ingredient is the wonderful team at WALK with Cathrin describes of more of a family.
