Our Staff Spotlight for March is Lillia! Lillia has been a member of our team since September and she is our lovely Store Supervisor so if you've recently popped into visit you might have already met her.

Lillia loves the shop and all the inspiration around it, from colours and materials to colleagues and customers. She loves speaking with customers and other team members about their projects and finds it incredibly exciting when visitors leaves the store with the enthusiasm to start something new.

Lillia learned to knit four years ago after she taught herself. Her mother tried several times to knit a sweater for her father when she was growing up, but never finished it. As a result, she always saw knitting as something difficult but in 2018, she decided to take the plunge and learned to knit through online classes. Lillia is very much a multiple wip crafter and at the moment she is working on a sweater, a Painting Columns Shawl and a little scarf for her son.

Lillia loves designing and making her own bags and accessories. For Lillia, learning new techniques and experimenting with different materials is very energising and exciting. When she's not knitting you can find her drawing, cooking, and watching old movies with her children.
