MKAL 2023 - Geogradient

Geogradient was the 14th MKAL shawl, showcasing a striking geometric design with four gradient colours of fingering weight yarn. The journey began with a centre square, where colours transitioned seamlessly from light to dark. A crochet option added a fun twist in Section 1, followed by eyelet stripes that flowed into a zigzag slip stitch pattern. The modular border featured a playful dip stitch technique, adding dynamic texture before finishing with festive fringe.

This shawl was a feast for the eyes and a delight to knit. The gradient colours made every section pop, while the dip stitches and fringe brought an extra touch of flair. Geogradient was all about exploring colour and texture in fresh, unexpected ways, creating a wearable piece of art.
