The beautiful kits for Westknits Mystery Knit Along 2022 are here and we are so excited for you to see all of the stunning palettes that Stephen has put together! For this year's MKAL, called Twists & Turns, you will need five skeins in three different colours of fingering weight yarn - this pattern works best for solid, semi-solid, and lightly speckled yarn. Which color pop combinantion of more subtle neutrals will you choose?
We have an amazing selection of hand-picked kits to help you knit your perfect MKAL shawl, from Undercover Otter to Life in the Long Grass, from Qing Fibre to Walk Collection, and in all the colours of the rainbow. You are bound to find a kit you love as you get ready to embark on your journey of twists and turns and watch your beautiful shawl reveal itself. Grab your pattern
The MKAL pattern can be purchased on westknits.com and on Ravelry. When you sign up by purchasing the pattern, you will receive an introductory pdf will be filled with all the information you need to know, like needle size, gauge, and helpful advice on the types of colours and contrast effects that work best for this design. The first clue will be revealed on Thursday 6th October and you will receive the clue in a Ravelry or westknits.com update via email. We can't wait to cast on together and watch the mystery shawl grow, one clue at a time!
